It was nice to be at the beautiful Maison Dupuy Hotel two nights in a row, for two absolutely wonderful weddings! This one was a wild party that began fairly low-key with the bride and groom having a nice first look in the back courtyard, then portraits in the French Quarter, followed by the ceremony, which was officiated by Rev. John Zimmer and featured music by a trio of current and former LPO string musicians. But after that, an amazingly fun and crazy party ensued, with reception entertainment provided by a band appropriately named Intensity, which traveled in from the Dallas, Texas area, and were incredible! The couple had opted for the Maison Dupuy’s attractive tent to be installed in case of rain, but in actuality, aside from just a tiny bit of drizzle during the first look, the weather was cooperative, including for the amazing second line at the end of the night with the Kinfolk Brass Band.
