We started out with the bride and groom having their first look at the Westin Canal Place hotel. I loved the lighthearted moment with the bride and bridesmaids in monogramed robes on the bed. This kind of shot has become a must-have for many brides, and although I typically first get a more straightforward and simple “everyone look at the camera and smile” photograph, I also love getting some shots that have more of a candid style, with the girls just having fun and being themselves!
The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the fabulous Kinfolk Brass Band then leading everyone through the French Quarter to Pat O’s on the River for the reception, where Mojeaux was on hand to keep the dance floor packed all night long.
And we had the added bonus of a Fourth of July fireworks show!

Here’s the nice review the bride wrote about me afterward:
Michael is AMAZING! He is extremely organized and made the whole process so easy. We took our photos prior to the ceremony and he knew exactly what to do and say to get everyone organized, posed, etc in order to keep everything on time. His photos are SOO great. He truly captured every emotion. I highly recommend him. He also has worked with our venue, videographer, and flower shop so he was able to work behind the scenes with those vendors to help make sure everything was good to go as well.
