One of the most important aspects of photography is to look for good light, and make use of it.
In this instance, the bride was getting ready at Buchanan Lofts in Lafayette for her acadiana wedding, and in this spot along a rustic looking brick wall there was gorgeous window light to work with. The result shot highlights this bride's beautiful eyes as she peers intently into the camera, and was one of my favorite shots from her wedding day.
I had photographed her groom's sister's wedding in New Orleans a few years before, and was pleased to have an opportunity to work with the family once again.
