I had driven past these apparently abandoned old brick buildings in a remote part of New Orleans City Park many times, and had always wanted to shoot there but never got around to it. In talking to this bride, it sounded like the perfect spot for us to hit during their engagement portrait session to capture a moodier, more dramatic image.
Lauren is an event coordinator and hostess at Southern Oaks in New Orleans, who I've had the pleasure of working with over the years. She has always put great effort into making so many couples' weddings perfect, and it was great to be able to work with her on her own fabulous wedding, with the ceremony being held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and the reception, of course, taking place at Southern Oaks!
After the wedding, she was kind enough to write this wonderful review:
Michael is a phenomenal photographer who pays attention to all of the details! He is truly a remarkable person who very accommodating and aways willing to make everything seems so natural. It was extremely special for Michael to capture Justin and I's Wedding Day because he was there to witness the moments I became a bride. After always assisting other couples on their wedding day and working closely with Michael for years, I knew he was the best and personable choice! Our pictures are just over the top extraordinary and I cannot wait to constantly look back on the amazing memories from that day. Thank you so much Michael for everything that you have done from the moment of booking with you to our wedding day! I will continue you to recommend you to everyone!
