This Texas Couple's wedding ceremony took place on a beautiful Spring day at the Elms Mansion in uptown New Orleans. This particular shot was my favorite from their wedding, captured as they recessed down the aisle, stopping to kiss amidst a flurry of bubbles blown by their guests.
The late afternoon sun accents the couple and helps highlight the bubbles.
Over the years, most of the wedding ceremonies I've photographed at The Elms Mansion have taken place by the venue's iconic gazebo. But lately, I've had several couples decide to use the spacious lawn area on the other side of the property. This has the benefit of allowing for a more elaborate reception setup, since there is no need to flip the space after the ceremony.
At the end of the night the Kinfolk Brass Band led everyone on a festive Second Line parade down St. Charles Avenue!
