Though I'm based in the New Orleans area, I do periodically travel out a bit further to photograph weddings, as was the case with this wedding at Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, Louisiana, which is not too far from Lafayette. Whenever I arrive at a venue, if I know the couple wants to do some romantic portraits of the two of them, I always look around to find some appropriate spots. I loved the way this wall looked, and it was right outside the event space, plus it was in good light!
