Bride Dances with Flower Girls at Federal Ballroom

This wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Federal Ballroom on Carondelet St. in downtown New Orleans.

I grew up in Mandeville, but was living in Indianapolis while planning my wedding in New Orleans. I had viewed several photographer's websites to help me make my decision. It was so hard since I was not in town. My (now) husband and I were really impressed with Michael's work. He seemed to catch emotions and show them through his pictures. It was truly art! We booked him without meeting with him. Kind of scary, but we couldn't be happier with our decision. About six weeks before my wedding, Michael did a bridal photo shoot with me. He was so accommodating. I was definitely cutting everything close on time since I had been out of town. He went above and beyond to get my photos finished in time to appear in the paper. The day of my wedding is when Michael REALLY shined. I have to say he was my favorite vendor to work with for the big day. He was happy, funny, and easy going. I had a shot list that he followed perfectly. I had a second line that ended my reception. The second line happened after the time Michael was asked to stay for photos. But guess what? He stayed anyway! I am SO happy with the way my photos came out! One of my favorite ways to remember the special day is to look back at the coffee table book we ordered through Michael. I love showing it to everyone. My friends and family are beyond impressed with my photos. I am too!
