The Foundry was a fantastic and much-loved wedding venue in the warehouse district of New Orleans, and there was a collective cry of anguish and agony by the entire community of wedding vendors here when the building was sold to be turned into an auction house. This lovely same-sex couple was the final wedding I would shoot at this venue, and the lighting of this particular shot made it my favorite image of all the events I've shot there.
While The Foundry and the similar Conti Wax Museum in the French Quarter are gone, another great choice for a wedding venue in New Orleans is The Chicory.
Location: New Orleans, LA.
