This groom LOVED to dip! He dipped his bride at the conclusion of the ceremony, during their first dance (this photo), and again at the end of the night during their sparkler send-off! The wedding took place at Trinity Banquets & Receptions, a spacious event venue in Slidell that is a pleasure to shoot at.
Trinity has a separate room for the ceremony, which means the reception space is already set up and ready to go as soon as the ceremony is over. The venue also a very large bridal suite for the girls to get ready in, and this space is also perfect for formal group photographs (there's also a groom's suite, though it's not quite as big!).

Michael was great to work with from the beginning and so patient with me, a nervous, type A bride. Not only did he meet with me in person several times before the wedding, but he was always quick to respond to my concerns or questions. Having an all indoor wedding, one of my concerns was lighting and space for him to move in (we had a small ceremony space). Michael eliminated all concerns and executed flawlessly. And, unless he was taking portrait pictures, I didn’t notice him being in my face with the camera much, but he caught so many beautiful candid moments. Another concern I had was having enough time before the ceremony to get things done. One of the things I liked about Michael was that he offered to swap the engagement sessions for an extra hour on the wedding day and it was very much so worth it. He came to our hotel to take the getting ready shots, and then went to the venue for pre-ceremony shots. I was a very organized bride, and gave Michael a detailed list of all the shots I wanted and he followed it to the T. He has a very calming personality, but also gets things done quickly. He took his time to make sure shots were perfect, but got my long list taken care of. He really takes his time post-wedding to edit the pictures so they really pop, but has an excellent turn around time. He also includes a book of photos from your day in his packages. Michael was a dream to work with and I would recommend him to anyone.
