Intimate Wedding at Compass Point Events

Compass Point Events is a lovely wedding venue located in the quiet Algiers Point neighborhood on the westbank of New Orleans, featuring indoor and outdoor event spaces as well as guest cottages for the wedding party to get ready in. This California couple fell in love with the venue immediately, though their planned Spring 2020 wedding celebration ended up being postponed two years due to COVID. It was well worth the wait though!

The bride and groom started out with a first look and some couple portraits around the grounds. The ceremony took place right at that perfect time of day in the early evening for the best light. A small group of family and close friends were in attendance.

After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a fantastic outdoor seated dinner of authentic New Orleans food. And the venue not only provides the catering, but the owner is also a licensed florist and crafts beautiful floral arrangements.
