Senior Portrait in Slidell

I had a great time photographing this high school senior in Slidell. We shot mostly around the olde towne area, utilizing the brick walls, doorways, and interesting buildings as our backdrops. But we also headed over to Heritage Park to finish up the session there with some shots by the bayou and railroad tracks.

For my senior portrait sessions, I try to capture the various aspects of the student’s personality, rather than doing static posed shots in front of a grey backdrop wearing the cap and gown. And in some cases, we will incorporate things that represent their interests or school activities, such as band instruments, sporting equipment, etc.
