Chia and Ling’s intimate wedding took place at Galvez on a beautiful Spring early afternoon. Videographer Tim Mcaskill was on hand to film the event and was great to work with as usual. Daytime weddings at this location are particularly enjoyable, as the huge windows allow lots of beautiful natural light that fills in from all sides, but is still directional enough to add just the right amount of contrast. This will likely be my last wedding at this wonderful restaurant, as this space is set to be taken over by a new operation. The good news is that it will be run exclusively as an event venue, so once any necessary renovations are completed, this fabulous space will remain available for weddings, and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with it!
After the ceremony and the formal group shots, I headed outside the bride and groom for a quick portrait session with the couple, and we got some delightful photographs of just the two of them in the area around the building.
