It was wonderful to photograph this kind and friendly Texas couple and their beautiful children. We started out with Sophie getting ready at Hotel Indigo on St. Charles Avenue, then headed down to Audubon Park’s Newman Bandstand for the ceremony, with a few dozen family and close friends in attendance. After the ceremony, we did some group portraits in the park, then headed down to the French Quarter for a fun session with just Sophie and Miguel, wrapping it up in true New Orleans style with the couple dining on Lucky Dogs (and, just for the record, Sophie’s was a potentially messy chili dog, which she ate very carefully… still, that was one brave bride!).
