This wonderful couple’s mid-day New Orleans wedding took place at the Pharmacy Museum’s beautiful courtyard in the French Quarter. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Amanda for the past several years, playing in the Northshore Community Orchestra together. Her delightful spirit was reflected in the bride’s processional music. Performed by Vive La Quintet, it began with with a wailing clarinet soloist playing the famous “second line song” intro, to which Amanda responded with an enthusiastic shout before dancing up the aisle with her father as the music transitioned into a more traditional piece (but still with a jazzy flavor). It was a delightful event, and I’m glad I was able to be a part of it!
What a lovely couple, congratulations to ya”ll Amanda & Rodney here’s wishing you a long & happy marriage!!
You were just beautiful Amanda!
Congratulations to the both of you!
