Several months ago a couple I was meeting with made it a point to let me know that one of the main reasons why they were considering booking me was that, from what they had observed of my website galleries and blog, I happily photographed same-sex weddings. The interesting part was that they themselves are not a same-sex couple, but it was very important to them to patronize vendors for their wedding who treated all couples equally. They did end up hiring me for their December wedding at the Ace Hotel in New Orleans, and the bride subsequently authored a great blog post about her experiences, which you can read here!
