Emily and Jim’s wedding ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Elms Mansion in uptown New Orleans. After the ceremony, the guests were entertained with the funky sounds of Refried Confuzion. And yes, that detailed rendering of the handsomely-dressed dog (Emily and Jim’s, of course, who was not able to make it to the wedding) was the groom’s cake! At the end of the night, the band led everyone on a Second Line around the grounds, and then out to a waiting streetcar on St. Charles Avenue!
