Due to scheduling issues and concerns over Jazz Fest crowds, we ended up doing this portrait session early on a Monday morning, which is a dramatic shift from the usual late afternoon timeframe that I usually do. It actually worked out great! The streets had just been washed down, and had that nice wet look, and Quarter was nearly deserted, giving us more flexibility in selecting locations. Might have to start doing that more often!
