I can’t imagine a more friendly and likable couple than Kaitlyn and Stephen!
They had a fabulous wedding at Hotel Mazarin, with lots of nice touches, such as two adorable flower girls (their grandmothers), Kaitlyn’s grandfather as the officiant, a unity braid, beautiful candles made by Kaitlyn’s sister as the wedding favors, and Stephen’s awesome wedding ring (made from wood, with a guitar string around the outside). I was especially appreciative that they based the start time of their courtyard ceremony around making sure they had some time afterward for portraits of the two of them.
And what could be more New Orleans than a newly married bride and groom sharing a beignet after their wedding? Usually when the reception ends and the couple is given a cheering send-off or a Second Line parade through the French Quarter, that’s the end of the wedding photography coverage. But occasionally couples schedule a little extra time for portraits after the wedding celebration has officially ended. At the end of the night, the couple was given a fabulous sparkler send-off by their guests, and then we walked over to Café Beignet a few blocks away for a few last photos!
