Kayla and Joe:
Wedding at St. Phillip in Vacherie and The Chicory

For this New York couple’s wedding, I headed out to Vacherie, LA, where the ceremony took place at St. Phillip (the same church where Kayla’s parents had gotten married), and we had some time after the ceremony for some portraits out by a sugar cane field. We then headed back to the city for the reception at The Chicory’s Gallery Room, but spent some time there on Fulton Street doing a few more portraits of the couple and wedding party.  We wrapped up the night with a second line parade!

The bride had these complimentary words for me after the wedding:
