Joe had arranged to bring Whitney on a tour of the plantation during their trip down here from New Jersey, but secretly had much bigger plans! Photographing a marriage proposal in a public place can be very challenging, requiring a balance of careful planning and quick improvisation. Everything worked out perfectly, and then we spent some time getting some portraits of the newly engaged couple.
