New Orleans Wedding at Latrobe’s
– Alana and Martin –

This couple and most of their guests came all the way from Barbados to New Orleans! We started out with some getting ready shots, a first look, and the formal group shots at the Dauphine Orleans Hotel’s Hermann House Courtyard. I loved Alana’s “photography ticket” idea, printed cards that she gave to everyone who was to be included in the formal group shots letting them know where to be and when, along with a checklist of the various groups on the back side.

We then headed to Latrobe’s on Royal where the ceremony and reception were to be held, grabbing some informal group shots and some more portraits of the bride and groom along the way, and were joined by Joe with Second Line Films, who was great to work with as always. At the end of the reception, the prolific Kinfolk Brass Band led the whole group on a fabulous second line parade back to the Dauphine Orleans Hotel, where the party was set to continue at Mae Bailey’s bar.
