Wedding at Popp Fountain and Arbor Room

Colleen and James’ wedding took place at Popp Fountain and The Arbor Room in City Park. The day began with everyone getting ready at the Hilton Riverside Hotel at the foot of Poydras Street.

We then headed to City Park for the wedding ceremony, which took place just before sunset. Nola Flora crafted the gorgeous flowers, and Luminous Events did the beautiful candles and speciality lighting.

The reception took place at the adjacent Arbor Room, City Park’s newest addition to its collection of fabulous wedding venues. There, Groovy 7 was on hand for the entertainment and were absolutely fabulous as usual. This band is a favorite among wedding professionals, and I always look forward to working with them. And the bride’s dad even sat in with the band, and impressed everyone with his powerful voice.
