Botanical Gardens Wedding in City Park

Corey and Peter had a beautiful wedding at City Park’s Botanical Gardens, coordinated by Weddings Taylor Made. We started out with the bride getting ready at Sully Mansion in uptown New Orleans before heading over to the park, where most of the beautiful decorations had been crafted by Corey and her father. The cake was from Haydels, with the groom’s cake being made by Nothing Bundt Cakes (who also made the assortment of tiny little cup-bundt-cakes!). One adorable thing Corey did was a special cake pull for her dad… cake pulls are usually added to the main wedding cake, with the bridesmaids and/or a group of girls selected by the bride participating, but Corey arranged for a charm in one of the mini bundt cakes for her dad, which was a steamboat, since he played a significant role in the design of the steamboat Natchez.
