Dillon and Courtney:
Marriage Proposal in New Orleans

Marriage proposals can be quite challenging to photograph! I had extensive conversations with Dillon and a relative of his who was helping him arrange things for this proposal at Metairie Country Club, where the family was having a Christmas Eve lunch. We had a creative plan. I would be there under the guise of the being a pre-arranged portrait photographer there on behalf of of the Country Club, doing group shots of lunch guests as they arrived. So, I could be right there out in the open without drawing suspicion. And it worked perfectly!

Although we had originally planned to do this outside, when I arrived there beforehand to get set up, I found a beautiful spot inside in front of a Christmas tree, so a few quick and stealthy text messages later and we switched our game plan.
