Marriage proposals can be quite challenging to photograph! I had extensive conversations with Dillon and a relative of his who was helping him arrange things, and although we had planned to do the proposal outside at the Metairie Country Club, where the family was planning to have a Christmas Eve lunch. But when I arrived there beforehand to get set up, I found a beautiful spot inside, so a few quick and stealthy text messages later and we switched our game plans!
