Esther and Douglas:
Wedding at the Barnett Hotel

This couple came all the way from Canada to get married in New Orleans, in a delightful wedding at the Ace Hotel (edit: which is now known as the Barnett Hotel), with Beth’s Flowers coordinating the event.

The outdoor ceremony was held in the venue’s courtyard area on the second floor, with streamers from the guests covering the couple as they recessed out at the end, while the reception took place downstairs in the spacious Barnett Hall ballroom. The couple did the “shoe game” (where questions are asked, and the bride and groom, sitting back to back, raises either their shoe or their spouse’s shoe in response), and the guests had some interactive games to play as well, such as a scavenger hunt, plus there was even a fortune teller!
