Katie and Stephen had a beautiful evening wedding at Southern Oaks!

The couple got ready at Hotel Monteleone, and had a first look near the penthouse suite. After some portraits int he French Quarter, we heading to Southern Oaks for the ceremony and reception

I loved the lanterns around the fountain. This is a venue that really doesn’t need any additional decor, but some couples add little touches like this.

The bride made her breathtaking entrance by horse-drawn carriage. At the conclusion of the ceremony, everyone was treated to a celebratory fireworks show after the couple returned back to the front of the popular New Orleans wedding venue on the carriage.

As most couples choose to do, we snuck out for a bit during the reception for some portraits. At the end of the night, guests gathered at the front of the venue to see the newly married couple off!
