Lauren and Will had a fantastic wedding at Southern Oaks Plantation! But first, after some getting ready shots at the Hilton Garden Inn, we headed over to Exchange Place in the French Quarter, where Lauren had two very emotional first looks with both of the special men in her life, first with her father, and then with her groom. The nighttime ceremony at Southern Oaks was flawless, as was the lively reception, thanks to the attentive and dedicated staff. I loved how the couple set aside a little time for some portraits of the two of them outside during the reception! And later, Lauren’s father delivered a spectacular speech, with a beautiful blend of humor and sincerity, which undoubtedly left many in the room wishing they had the ability to talk so eloquently. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the evening with these great families! Royal Cakery did the two amazing cakes, while Urban Earth created the gorgeous floral arrangements.
