We started out with a first look at Factors Row in downtown New Orleans, capturing a few portraits here as well, before heading to Latrobe’s on bike taxis (the most practical form of transportation, given that this was French Quarter Festival weekend!) for the ceremony and reception. At the end of the night, the True Blue brass band came in for a second line, and although we could not do an “official” parade through the French Quarter (due to FQF), everyone had a blast just parading out onto Royal Street (which was closed to vehicular traffic) and dancing around the front of the Supreme Court building!
The groom had these kind words for me after the wedding:
We can’t thank Michael enough not only for his excellent photos but for being an absolute breeze to work with, from start to finish. He navigated us through French Quarter Fest like a rockstar and captured all of the memorable moments throughout our wedding while never getting in the way. We strongly recommend him and wish him nothing but success—5 STARS!
