Marriage Proposal in the French Quarter

Marriage proposals are always a lot of fun to photograph, and I had a great time capturing Michaelyn & Logan’s special moment.  In this particular spot across the street from Jackson Square with St. Louis Cathedral in the background, mornings typically provide the best light.  And as an added benefit, the French Quarter is usually less crowded in the morning, plus the streets will usually be wet from having been washed, and I love that sheen this provides.

After the proposal, we headed out into the French Quarter to do some portraits of the newly engaged couple!
