Wedding in NOLA at Southern Oaks

It was a delight photographing this wonderful couple and their fun group of family and friends at Southern Oaks! I loved Javier’s reaction to seeing his bride come down the aisle. This is still a special moment, even if the couple had a first look before the ceremony, as they did.

Although Southern Oaks is a beautiful wedding venue that requires no additional decorating, some couples choose to add their own touches, such as the candles around the fountain.

After the ceremony, a brass band led the couple back up the aisle and into the house for the reception. The event concluded with a second line parade around the inside of the venue, followed by a cell phone light send-off!
