Marriage Proposal at Oak Alley Plantation

This Slidell couple loves Oak Alley and they’ve visited here many times. So it was a natural choice for where Robert would pop the big question. The couple was staying overnight in one of the on-site cottages, and were going to be heading off to a nice dinner that evening. But Robert suggested that they first head down the walkway to do a selfie, near where I was waiting.  After capturing that wonderful moment, we walked around the grounds for a while for a mini engagement portrait session. It was a bit windy out there, but thankfully the rain held off for us!
