Marriage Proposal at Oak Alley Plantation
– Katelyn and Robert –

This Slidell couple loves visiting Oak Alley Plantation, and they’ve been here many times. So it was a natural choice for where Robert would pop the big question.

They were planning to stay overnight in one of the on-site cottages the plantation offers, and were going to be heading off to a nice dinner that evening after touring the historic mansion. But Robert suggested that they first head down the walkway to do a selfie, where, unbeknownst to Katelyn, I was secretly waiting.

After capturing the beautiful marriage proposal, we walked around the grounds for a while for a mini engagement portrait session. It was a bit windy out there, but thankfully the rain held off for us!
