Casual Wedding at Hotel Mazarin

Rachel and Erik’s wedding was delayed two years by COVID, but was well worth the wait! It was a casual event, with the hashtag #NoTiesNoTuxesNoWorries.

Waning Moon Weddings by LaToya officiated the ceremony, and then we hit the streets for a second line parade with the Kinfolk Brass Band. Back at the reception, the cake was a spectacular king cake from Haydel’s Bakery.

We had started out with a first look and some portraits in nearby Exchange Place, but the light was not good in that location at that time of day, so we decided to head back over there later during the reception and do a few more quick portraits of the couple in the better light of late afternoon.
