This Dallas, Texas couple began their New Orleans wedding day with a first look at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in the French Quarter, where we also completed all of our formal group shots, before heading around the corner to Latrobe’s on Royal where the wedding was to take place. After the ceremony in the gorgeous courtyard space, officiated by Rev. Joe Pitzer, the reception took place in the main ballroom, with DJ Dynamics providing the entertainment. In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, the couple instead had La Louisiane Bakery craft a delightful display of delicious desserts. Dunn and Sonnier did the beautiful floral decorations, and in a nice touch toward the end of the evening, they dismantled the large arrangements of flowers into smaller bundles which the couple and the family distributed to guests. When the reception was over, in true New Orleans style the amazing Kinfolk Brass Band showed up and led everyone out of the venue and onto the streets of the French Quarter for a awesome second line parade ending up at famous Pat O’Briens where the party was to continue.
