Southern Hotel Wedding in Covington
– Regina and Brandon –

It was great to be back at the elegant Southern Hotel in Covington for Regina and Brandon’s wedding, with a very fun wedding party and group of guests to work with. The ceremony took place in the courtyard, and ended on an amusing note when the officiant (a friend of the couple) introduced them with Brandon’s last name, despite Regina keeping her name (and being adamant about being introduced this way). “Try again”, the bride said, to the officiant’s confusion and fear, but then she realized that in the busy preparations leading up to the wedding, she had simply forgotten to tell him, and everyone had a good laugh about it.

After some group shots in the courtyard, we had a few minutes of light left for some portraits of the couple on a nearby pathway that is a favorite spot of mine at this venue, before heading inside for the reception!
