Wedding at Latrobe’s on Royal

This Tennessee couple had a fantastic wedding at Latrobe’s on Royal. We started out with some getting ready shots at the Royal Sonesta, and their couple had their first look out on the balcony overlooking Bourbon Street.

We then ventured out into the French Quarter (in a light drizzle!) for some portraits, with a series of shots of the couple walking along a wet Bourbon Street being my favorite. We finished up with formal group photographs in Exchange Place, before heading to the venue for the wedding. The bride herself crafted the beautiful floral arrangements that adorned the ceremony space.

Although second line parades are usually either between the ceremony and reception, or at the very end of the reception, they chose to have their parade partway through the reception, with the bride having changed into a new outfit, returning to the venue for the party to continue! We ended the event with a quick shot suggested by a guest, with the couple kissing in the doorway with rain falling behind them.
