Wedding at Hotel Mazarin

Though COVID gave this kind Alabama couple a unique opportunity for an engagement portrait session in a mostly empty French Quarter, it also caused their original December 2020 wedding to be delayed a year.  But it was well worth the wait!

Portraits were especially important to this couple, so we spent some time hitting various spots in the French Quarter, including the beautifully decorated lobby of the Royal Sonesta Hotel, Jackson Square, and the Supreme Court building, as well as shooting in the couple’s suite at Hotel Mazarin, and the hotel’s bar, Patrick’s Bar Vin.

At the end of the night, we wrapped up with a festive second line parade through the streets, and paused for a moment to grab a shot in front of the Royal Sonesta’s “Desire” sign.
