Kate and Nate’s wedding was fabulous and lots of fun, with the Unique Weddings in New Orleans team creating yet another perfect event! The ceremony took place in the recently renovated Peristyle in City Park. Built in 1907, this structure features a gorgeous view of the lagoon and surrounding scenery and is a great place for celebrations of all kinds. After the ceremony, we were transported by bus to downtown, where in true New Orleans fashion, everyone Second Lined the rest of the way to The Chicory in the warehouse district for the reception with Smitty Dee’s brass band leading the way. There, the band After 8 was on hand for the entertainment, and were great as usual. And to top it all off, the couple was given a fabulous send-off with sparklers at the end of the night. Sparkler departures can be a bit chaotic to organize, and it is in this kind of situation that an assertive and experienced wedding coordinator is worth their weight in gold!
The last two images are fantastic!
